Let’s talk about CBD-rich hemp extract.
Also known as oil, tincture, drops, or concentrate, hemp extracts are popular because they’re easy to use, you can go up/down in small increments to dial in on your optimal dose, and they’re cost effective.
Hemp extracts are normally taken by shaking the bottle well, putting drops under the tongue, holding for 45-60 seconds, and then swallowing. Effects are usually felt within 15-30 minutes and last 3-5 hours.
Less is more when it comes to any hemp product that you’re ingesting. Taking as little as possible is the goal, as taking too much may cause unpleasant side effects like lightheadedness, dry mouth, upset stomach, and sleepiness.
One thing you won’t get with hemp extract is “high” since they contain little to no THC, the compound in marijuana known for it’s euphoric effects.
